You can request deletion of your Salt & Pepper account and all associated personal data at any time. Choose either method below — both result in complete removal of your account.
The quickest way to delete your account is directly from the Salt & Pepper app:
Your account and data are removed immediately upon confirmation.
If you can't access the app or have already uninstalled it, email us and we'll process your deletion within 7 business days.
Send a message to support@saltpepper.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my account".
Email deletion requestWhen you delete your account, we permanently remove the following from our systems:

| Custom recipes you created | Deleted immediately |

| Search history and app activity | Deleted immediately |
| Voice recordings | Not stored — discarded after each session |
| Push notification tokens | Deleted immediately |
| Beta feedback submissions | Deleted immediately |
| Subscription records (RevenueCat, Stripe) | Anonymized, retained for tax/legal compliance (up to 7 years) |
| Crash reports (Sentry) | Anonymized, auto-purged after 90 days |
Deleting your Salt & Pepper account does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled separately:
If you delete your account without cancelling first, your subscription will continue to bill until the end of the current period.
